摘要

The increasing prevalence of multiresistant gramnegative rod-shaped bacteria (MRGN) gives cause to serious concern in inpatient and outpatient health care facilitys.Consequent screening and isolation precautions are used to achieve the early identification of infected or colonized patients.In addition a disinfection of surfaces close or distant to the patient plays an important role as part of the multibarrier system. In this context the question arises, if the resistances of the MRGN may contribute to a reduced susceptibility against common compounds in surface disinfectants. To answer this question clinical isolates with previously identified resistance mechanisms on the basis of molecular-biological tests were exposed to a surface disinfectant consisting of phenoxyethanole, bis (3-Aminopropyl)dodycylamine and Alcyldimethylbenzylammonium-chloride.The bactericidal efficacy was assessed using the suspension test according to EN 13727 in comparison to standard test organisms.
