FOX UK RETURNS

When we launched Fox UK, we had no idea what to expect. But the response has been fantastic, so thanks to everyone who took part. Professor read all your stories and even he was surprised by the overwhelmingly positive message. FOX UK has been an enormous success. In the January issue of BBC Wildlife, we asked you to tell us about your experiences with foxes to help us build up a definitive portrait of the modern fox. Since we wanted a comprehensive overview, we stressed that we wanted the bad and the ugly as well as the good. Hundreds of letters, emails and photographs flooded in from all over the country and we were delighted to hear from a broad spectrum of readers, from urban housewives to rural farmers, animal welfare workers to fox hunters.
