RECENTLY LAUNCHED onto the UK market, the Fox is Volkswagen's two-door hatchback replacement for the entry-level Lupo. With prices starting at just ￡6,590 for the basic 55 PS 1.2-litre engined model, it is substantially cheaper than the Lupo, which sold from ￡7,880 for the 50 PS 1.0E, and Volkswagen UK consequently expects to sell around 9,000 in a full year, nearly three times as many as the Lupo.
