ICL wins Foreign Office contract

ICL has won a pound 6.3 million four-year contract with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), to deliver a global knowledge service to its 14,000 staff in 165 countries. The FCO says the ICL service is vital to the modernisation of the FCO and addresses its vision of becoming a customer-oriented global online organisation. The modernising government programme has set ambitious goals for the transformation of public services, and using information technology is a key enabler to change the way the public sector works.
