Ebony Davis, individually and on behalf of her son, Lateef Mackey, sued Howard Kowlowitz, Rochele Kowlowitz, Boynton Management Co. Inc., Boynton Avenue Corp and 581 East 187th Street Associate Corp. in the Bronx County Supreme Court, alleging that the defendants were liable for Lateef's elevated lead level of 41 micrograms per deciliter (ug/dL).
