M&G plans another huge PET plant

PET supplier M&G Group (Tortona,Italy),which has existing PET capacity of 1.3 million tonnes/yr,says it will build a 410,000-tonne/yr PET plant in the northeastern Brazilian port city of Ipoju-ca.The plant is expected to be operational by late 2006.M&G also is in talks with Brazilian oil and gas producer Petrobas,signing a memorandum of understanding.
