Court Decision Upholds Representation for Non-Union Workers

In an advance for workers' rights, a top federal court ruled non-union workers can bring colleagues with them to management disciplinary hearings.In its 3-0 decision, the panel of the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ruled the National Labor Relations Board correctly interpreted labor law earlier this year when it extended to non-union workers the right to representation at hearings that are disciplinary or could lead to discipline.
