Initiatives drive down costs

Innovation and technical services is what has set the Shell Company of Australia Ltd apart when it comes to demonstrating value to Rio Tinto Minerals. Shell has been servicing Rio Tinto Minerals for more than 15 years and over this time has worked closely with the resources giant to reduce their maintenance costs. This has been achieved by applying Shells Value Improvements Process to identify, qualify, develop and implement cost saving initiatives. The most recent initiative has been the upgrading of diesel engine oils to the latest specification high performance diesel engine oil.
