A methodology combining a time-domain equivalent currents method and the finite-difference time-domain technique is presented to analyze guidelines compliance in human exposure to electromagnetic fields from base-station antennas in the presence of large scattering obstacles, The efficiency of the method is demonstrated when analyzing the specific absorption rate in people exposed to those antennas.
