Now here's a different kind of article. The Arizona citizenry and business community does not want to change highway signs from kilometers to miles. It seems that there's not as much anti-metric sentiment out there as some people would want us to think. North of the U.S.-Mexico border, 100 kilometers of Interstate 19 in Arizona are lined with 400 road signs that tell drivers how many kilometers they are from their destination -- not how many miles.
