HORIZONTAL HCC-12000 UNIT FOR THE CONTINUOUS CASTING OF SEMIFINISHED PRODUCTS

摘要

This article describes the unique design of a horizontal unit that has been developed for the continuous casting of round 70- and 10-mm-diam. ingots and rectangular 200 × 20 mm ingots. The unit was designed with the use of the 3D-modeling program SolidWorks. It is shown that the proposed design is efficient for the production of ingots made of nonferrous and precious metals.
