摘要

The aim of this study is to compare protease inhibitions in honeybees (queen, drones, and workers) in their developmental stages (eggs, larvae, pupae, adult) during variations in the season. Results showed that highest protease inhibitor activities was observed from the workers while the smallest was seen from the queen, these were based on their antifungal properties upon being challenged by pathogens, it was also observed that the high protease inhibitor activities occurred during spring and autumn. Protease inhibitor activities was observed when acidity was high for the larval and pupal stages.
