Chiral separation of tryptophan by single-pass affinity inclined UF

The principle of inclined ultrafiltration (UF), which can remove filter cake continuously, was applied to the chiral separation of tryptophan enantiomers, with bovine serum albumin (BSA) as the stereospeciflc mac-roligand, by operating in single-pass mode using the hollow-fibre membrane module oriented vertically.
