摘要

This paper presents a hygrothermal analysis of the hybrid composites under the effect of the cyclic environmental conditions by the finite element method. During this study, we used the hybrid composites to consider an appropriate isolation against the cyclic environmental conditions, as well as the reduction of the transient hygrothermal stresses. To reach this aim, we used, initially, the computer code W8gain developed by Springer for the determination of the moisture concentration at the end of each cycle. The various cycles suggested by Springer correspond to the succession of plane flights tests, accomplished in the periods of 6 hours, 6 days and 6 weeks respectively. Secondly, we developed a computer code by the finite element which will determine the distribution of the hygrothermal stresses in the hybrid plate at the end of each cycle. To concretize our study, we made some applications on the unidirectional hybrid composites and [θ/-θ] sequences. We also studied the influence of the edge effect extension on behavior of the hybrid composites.
