摘要

The discovery of bulk heterojunction solar cells has stimulated research in low band-gap π-conjugated polymers. Since the low band-gap polymers usually absorb a large part of the solar spectrum, these p-type polymers (electron-donors) can be effectively employed in the fabrication of polymer solar cells, in combination with an n-type material (electron-acceptor) such as [6,6]-phenyl-C_(61)-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM).
