I was recently notified that the second-year Gastrointestinal (GI) Patho-physiology Course that I have directed for 18 years has taken over the number 1 ranking spot among all pre-clinical courses at Harvard Medical School. Our overall course score based course score Dasea on student evaluations was 1.17 on a Likert scale, where 1 is excellent and 5 is poor. The average second-year course score for 2012 was 1.71.1 had accomplished my long time goal of making the Gastrointestinal Pathophysiology Course the best rated course in the first 2 years at Harvard Medical School.
