CNR ITAE researchers compare different fuel cell hybrid powertrain configurations

A recent 2007 Fuel Cell Seminar and Exposition presentation by CNR ITAE researchers L. Andaloro, C. Sapienza, G. Dis-penza, and V. Antonucci provided a comparative analysis between two different hybrid (battery/fuel cell) powertrains. "The analyzed vehicle is an electric microcar, modified in a hybrid vehicle. The principal aim is to demonstrate that for a hybrid fuel cell vehicle it is possible to use different kind of batteries, in particular starting batteries, characterized by smaller capacity and weight, and traction batteries have been tested.
