Discussing fruit salads seemed like a worthwhile idea when I began thinking about my first articleof the year. After all, for the California Rare Fruit Growers, 2016 will be the Year of Edible Landscaping. This will result in fruits ranging from A to Z appearing in the Fruit Gardener rather than having only one fruit emphasized as a themethroughout the entire year. Right away goodies made of mixed fruits came to mind. Then I became especially intrigued about revisiting frozen fruit salads, because I remember them from my youth, yet rarely do I see anyone serving them nowadays.
