The device has a passion fruit whose stem is introduced in a slot. Two healed cracks are made on the stem with the help of a razor blade. A graft (2) of a spur system of the passion fruit of one meter is placed on a rootstock (1) regenerated from vine which is of several years old, or on several regenerations of one year old vine produced from black grapes, where the rootstock is of 80 centimeters in length. An independent claim is also included for a method of cultivating passion flower.
