Arctic Oil & Gas Corp.issued a statement on January 29 apparently with the intent to refocus attention on its claim filed on 5/9/06 with the United Nations and the five Arctic countries for the exclusive exploitation,development,marketing and extraction rights to the oil and gas resources of the seafloor and subsurface contained within the area surrounding the North Pole.
