Crop prices have bounced back up this year

After a general decline in prices for most agricultural commodities - particularly corn, wheat and soybeans - in the second half of 2013, the first few months of 2014 have seen signs of recovery. Wheat in particular has been lifted by fears of reduced supply from Ukraine as the situation there deteriorates. Crop prices are still at historically high levels and remain profitable for farmers.
