Congress requests more fiscal accountability in 2006 FDA budget

The 2006 FDA budget, included in the recently passed FY 06 Agriculture bill, provides the agency with around ＄1.5 billion dollars for its operations next year - but with that funding comes requests for more fiscal accountability and increased surveillance of antibiotic contamination of imported seafood.
