Power of the pen: AutoDesk architectural studio 2 assembles intuitive design tools

Very quickly after the first release, Autodesk shipped Autodesk Architectural Studio 2. This is an elegant piece of software toot presents architects and designers with a truly new and more productive way to design. In my opinion, this is the first program specifically aimed at architectural design (figure 1). Although CAD programs have been available for many years, along with programs that rapidly develop 3D presentation models, no other integrated program contains the design tools found in Architectural Studio 2. The program is based on the architect's desk and tools paradigm. At first glance, Architectural Studio appears very simple, but this is a function of its innovative interface. In reality, the program is very capable. The 2D electronic drawing tools that mimic real-world drawing pencils and markers are located on the left side of the interface.
