India: Rajiv Plastics - masterbatch

Rajiv Plastics Ltd (headquartered in Mumbai) recently installed two new 5000 tonnes/y production lines, one at each of its two plastics masterbatch plants. The plant at Chakan, near Pune (200 km east of Mumbai), built in 2007, now has a capacity of 15,000 tonnes/y. The plant at Silvassa (capital of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, 200 km north of Mumbai), built in 1999, now has a capacity of 20,000 tonnes/y. The company currently exports 45% of its output to about 55 different countries.
