Surface Modified Aluminium Hydroxide in Flame Retarded Noise Damping Sheets

摘要

The processability and flame retardancy of polyethylene containing aluminium hydroxide of various particle sizes,with or without the addition of silicone terminated surfactants based on stearic acid,and of surface modified aluminium hydroxide particles were investigated by measuring mixing torque of the melt,and by limiting oxygen index and UL 94 flammability tests.
