Discharge port operations are our important activity in reaching the imported fertilizers to the farmers. Efficient discharge port operations result in ensuring quality and quantity of imported fertilizers.A well planned strategy and effective supervision yields good results. The paper highlights that by following right methods of handling operations at the discharge port and warehouses, the importer can minimise loss of cargo and cost of handling.
