Phase transformation induced by temperature of stannate-modified lead zir-conate titanate ferroelectric ceramics was investigated. The chosen composition is Pb_(0.99)Nb_(0.02)[(Zr_(0.90)Sn_(0.10))_(0.95)Ti_(0.05)]_(0.98)O_3 which was abbreviated as PZST85/10/5-2Nb. The low temperature rhombohedral ferroelectric (F_(R(LT)))-high temperature rhombohedral ferroelectric (F_(R(HT)))-paraelectric phase (PE) sequence induced by temperature was observed in poled PZST85/10/5-2Nb ceramic by measuring the dielectric response, hysteresis loop and piezoelectric coefficient d_(33). There was a relatively slight change of loss factor, hysteresis loop (remanent polarization, coercive field and area of loop) and piezoelectric constant d_(33) during F_(R(LT))-F_(R(HT)) phase transformation. Sharp maxima of dielectric constant and piezoelectric constant d_(33) occur in F_(R(HT))-PE phase transformation.
