Parasites mess with productivity

Murdoch University parasitologist Dr Caroline Jacobson said a recent investigation showed growth,carcass weight and dressing efficiency of lambs at slaughter was related to the level of infection with the parasites."As far as we understand, our study was the first time the impact of the level of infection with these parasites on carcass productivity in sheep after weaning has been demonstrated anywhere in the world," Caroline said.
