David Weaver, managing director of Yorkshire based installer, Reveal, says he was following Napolean's advice -"If you want something doing well, do it yourself" - when he made the decision to start manufacturing in house recently. The firm, which has over 30 years' experience in installing aluminium and timber bi-fold doors, sliding doors and windows, has traditionally bought in its aluminium components, but was recently finding that supply was becoming increasingly inconsistent in lead time and quality. After reportedly visiting the Elumatec Fabricator show in Milton Keynes, Reveal decided to invest in machinery and start manufacturing its own aluminium components instead.
