Panelists impressed with coconut coir

Dennis Flynn of Valley Farm in Helena, Montana is sold on coconut fibre (coir) growing media.He was one of four panelists at a growers' forum sponsored by the Crystal Company at the Ohio International Floral Short Course. The company manufactures Gro-Brick coconut fibres. "Even with our long-term plants, such as tomatoes, root growth looks veryhealthy," said Flynn. "In my 23 years of growing, I've never seen a better growing medium."
