Fuel Quality, Vehicle Emissions Standards in CIS Lags years behind EU: Report

A new report from Hart Energy's International Fuel Quality Center (IFQC) focuses on fuel quality and vehicle emissions developments in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). According to IFQC analysis, despite significant changes in the region since 1991, the fuel quality and vehicle emissions legislation in the CIS lags many years behind the EU. While the report notes that the gap will be narrowing due to the leapfrog approach and international help in certain areas, the region still faces significant delays.
