Online learning resources to support the ISCP

The intercollegiate surgical curriculum project (ISCP) aims to develop a seamless, flexible model for higher surgical training in the UK and Ireland. Previous articles in the Bulletin have touched upon the driving forces for the reform and modernisation of surgical training. The specialist advisory committees (SACs) representing the nine surgical specialties have been collaborating to develop the syllabus. This will cover each specialty, cross-specialty surgical knowledge and skills, and the professional and generic skills required of all surgeons. The syllabus will form part of the national curriculum for surgical training and can be viewed on the ISCP website at http://www.iscp.ac.uk/.
