Gatineau goes green: The STO tries on the Nova LFS HEV in environmental program

Nova Bus, the wholly owned subsidiary of the Volvo Bus Corporation, unveiled its LFS HEV in November 2006 at the Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA) Trans-Expo in Toronto, ON, Canada. Customers and suppliers were allowed a sneak preview of the new hybrid-powered vehicle the night before the event, and their enthusiasm for the new green technology has not subsided - the market has only grown larger. In fact, a member of ATUQ, a purchasing consortium of nine Quebec transit authorities, purchased the vehicle on display at the Nova Bus booth.
