The present invention provides an environmentally-friendly greening composition to prevent collapse of the surface layer by erosion and weathering on the slope face of cut ground and piled ground where plant growth conditions are poor. The greening composition contains: 100 weight parts of vegetation base materials which are a mixture of cocopeat, peat moss, vermiculite, papermaking fiber, and organic fertilizer; 0.2-2.0 weight parts of moisture absorbing materials; 0.1-1.0 weight parts of effective microorganism group (EM) crude liquid; and 0.05-0.5 weight parts of seeds. The greening composition is adhered on a rocky slope face by spraying fluidic slurry which is a mixture of the greening composition and water. As a result of observing the constructed slope face with naked eyes without active management over 24 weeks, soil is not lost and does not collapse even during rain. In addition, plants grow well during drought. Therefore, a soil ecosystem for vegetation settlement is self-maintained.
