Efficacy of endoscopic antireflux procedures: at least durability for radiofrequency energy delivery.

摘要

The efficacy of an antireflux therapy is measured by evaluating symptom control and healing of erosive esophageal lesions. Symptom control has been proven by many case series and sham-controlled studies. Sham studies demonstrated that 3 endoscopic antireflux devices (Stretta, Enteryx, and the full-thickness plication [NDO Surgical Inc, Mansfield, Mass]) resulted in improvement of at least subjective measures.
