UK Cygnus flows first gas

First gas has been produced from the Cygnus field development in the UK Southern North Sea, and gas has been exported to the Bacton gas terminal in North Norfolk, England. Cygnus is located in licence areas P1055 and P1731,150km off the coast of Lincolnshire. The Cygnus complex, with four platforms, a total of 10 wells and two subsea structures, serves an estimated field size of 250sq km from which it is expected to achieve plateau production of 7.08 MMcm/d (250 MMcf/d).
