摘要

Zinc oxide (ZnO) is an inexpensive and versatile semiconductor material used extensively in everyday applications in many areas. ZnO based polymeric nanocomposite (NC)s materials have attracted scientific society and have many applications in light emitting diodes, transparent conductors, UV-shielding, gas sensing and so on. At the beginning of each section of this review, the properties and applications of different polymers have been examined. Afterward, this review highlights the effect of ZnO on the morphology, thermal, conductivity, antibacterial and other properties of polymer NCs. (C) 2016 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
