Quicker silicone sealing through plasma treatment

SEALING Sonderhoff, the Cologne, Germany-based maker of sealing, gluing and potting systems, has introduced a system for speeding up the curing of silicone seals. By treating seals with plasma, they become tack-free more quickly. The new technology is intended to shorten the cycle times for foam sealant applied in situ using the FIPFG procedure (Formed In-Place Foam Gasket).
