PolymerLatex cuts 100 jobs to raise competitiveness

GERMAN LATEX PRODUCER Polymer Latex GmbH & Co.KG says it has completed a "major restructuring programme," as part of which over 100 jobs have been eliminated,mostly in Germany.The group now has 700 employees.The Marl-based firm said the job cuts followed a "major redesign of functions and processes," and added that some of the changes resulted from current high prices for raw materials globally.
