Zeon to raise SIS prices on 1 Sept

Tokyo - Zeon Corp. said it is raising the price of its SIS thermoplastic elastomers from 1 Sept. The increase amounts to $220 per tonne. The materials are sold globally under the tradename Quintac. Zeon is also raising prices for its Quintone thermoplastic resins by the same amount. Quintone materials are based on high-purity 1,3-pentadiene, and often used as additives in adhesives manufacture.
