Orbital ultrasound in the selective screening of a dural-cavernous sinus fistula

The patient presented to the emergency department (ED) with a 1-week history of left periorbital swelling and unilateral eye redness. She denied any pain in the eyes, vision loss, diplopia, blurred vision, hearing loss, and neck pain. She had no history of head trauma, visual changes, or right eye complaints. She was suffering from a headache and left eye pain that was diagnosed and treated for cluster headache for about 6 months before her presentation to the ED.
