摘要

This book is a very useful addition to the trauma care professional's library. Trauma continues to be one of the leading global health problems. Taking care of life- and limb-threatening injuries are daily events for healthcare professional in the field. However, there are large discrepancies in the survival rates of trauma patients between different countries or even different healthcare institutions within the same country or region. The outcome of trauma patients depends greatly on the quality of care that patients receive in both the prehospital and early hospital phases of care.
