A 73-year-old woman presented with a 4-month history of persistent annular plaques on her right forearm and painful erythematous lesions on her right lower leg. Physical examination revealed several erythematous annular plaques with sharp and raised erythematous borders on her right forearm (figure 1A). Depigmentation and telangiectasias were observed in the atrophic centres of the plaques. Dermos-copic evaluation revealed yellowish structureless areas at the margins of the annular plaques and whitish atrophic areas with arborizing vessels in the centre (figure IB). Indurated erythematous lesions on the right lower leg did not exhibit atrophy or pitted scars (figure 1C). Routine laboratory investigations and ophthalmological examination revealed no abnormalities.
