Salon nail care brand Alessandro International was founded in 1989 by nail artist Silvia Troska. Today Alessandro is active in 50 countries worldwide, with 16 professional ranges and ten consumer ranges. Artistic Director Frank Schaberle speaks exclusively to ECM about trends in the German nail care market What major trends have you seen in the German nail care market over the past year? The biggest trend is still StripLac, our innovation from March 2013. It is a unique product in the German market. StripLac is applied like a regular nail polish, hardened for 60 seconds under a UV lamp and the result lasts for up to ten days. Then StripLac can simply be peeled off the nail, and the natural nail remains healthy and intact.
