An increase in interest in physicians' working conditions has been noted in recent years. An unhealthy job environment might be a critical factor in the development of job stress and burnout amongst physicians, and could increase the trend to quit, decrease or change job activity. Inadequate working conditions might also be sources of critical errors that can impair safety and harm patients.1
