Compatibility and interchangeability of NATO-Greases

The efficient cooperation of NATO Forces is reliant on the compatibility of the systems of the allied partners. This indispensable interoperability can only be effected by way of standardisation. This issue has recently gained clear importance with the extended scope of assignments of the alliance in regard to international conflict prevention, crisis management and post-crisis rehabilitation.
