The re-emergence of a rare flower in South Africa's Koue Bokkeveld region underlines how some of the country's fruit producers grow in total harmony with the environment. One of South Africa's most treasured wild flower species, feared extinct, has been rediscovered on a farm belonging to leading producer Dutoit Group. The rare greyi, a type of Erica heathland flower unseen for III years, was found by chance in a secluded spot on the Lindeshof farm, one of South Africa's premier fruit growing estatesin the Koue Bokkeveld, near Ceres in the Western Cape.
