AS the purchasing power of the average Russian consumer increases, so too does his demand for higher quality goods, according to Fabrice Levesque, managing director of independent international auditing firm CL (Cabinet Levesque). "Those operators who still consider the Russian market as mainly a destination for Class 2 products are mistaken," he comments. "Last year saw massive imports of medium quality goods to the country.
