What do dust, golden halos, negative ions, and 108 Buddhism beads from the Qing Dynasty in China have in common? Remarkably, beeswax. Beeswax surfaced into my ever-wandering attention zone last August, as my wife and I vacationed in our home province of British Columbia. We went to Tofino, a town immersed in stunning scenery at the edge of an often-wild PacificOcean. It was beach time, one of those a-book-a-day vacations, occasionally surfacing from sun and sand to head into town for dinner.
