Malay-Thai WHP bids sought

The Carigali-PTT Operating Company (CPOC) is courting bids for a deck for a wellhead platform (WHP) for the offshore Block B-17 development in the Joint Development Area (JDA) between Malaysia and Thailand, E&P Daily understands.Following a lukewarm reception to an earlier attempt to launch the bidding process, CPOC is now trying to get bids on the table for the WHP workload based on revised engineering studies performed by KBR. The revised engineering has based the B-17 WHP on the Arthit development in the Gulf of Thailand.
